I don't review games after 2 hours. These are my thoughts after weeks or months of playing.
I bought Stardew Valley in 2020 during lockdown. Played 20 hours, got bored, forgot about it. Then last month, I don't know why, I reinstalled. Now I have 150 hours across two save files and I'm still discovering new things.
The fishing mini-game still sucks though. Everyone says "it gets easier" — no, you just get used to the pain.
Verdict: If you haven't played it in 2026, give it another shot. The 1.6 update added a bunch of stuff.
I've been playing since 2016. That's 10 years. My friend Mike and I used to play during lunch break at our old job. He stopped when they added Champions. I kept going.
The March update added two new Heroes. Are they game-changing? Not really. But the fact that I'm still playing after a decade says something.
Probably Genshin or Free Fire. Still playing enough hours to have an opinion.
